Over 30 professional coaches and assistants.
From a small room at Lincoln Square to a 4th facility at 3304 Winchester Drive, Leah’s now enrolls over 900 students and employs over 30 professional coaches and assistants. Our highly motivated staff & coaches are trained gymnastics professionals with experience, education & certifications.
Our goal with kids is to maintain a connection with their hearts while teaching skills, boundaries, and behavior. If we lose their heart during the process, nothing else will matter. The floor is staffed program by program, so the team below is grouped the way the gym runs — each group beside the classes it coaches.
Ownership & Direction
Leah began her 1st gymnastics school as a young mother in 1982 and started Leah’s Gymnastics & Cheerleading, Inc. in 1996; she is still very much involved and active daily in the business. Our owners and directors are the people who keep four facilities, over 900 enrollments and the weekly schedule running. Read our story.

Our Teams compete at local, state and regional levels, following the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic and Xcel Programs, with gymnasts ranging in age 5 – 18 and competing on their own individual level. These coaches run that program, which strives to promote good work ethic and high self-esteem through positive re-enforcement. See Team Gymnastics.

All Star Cheerleading is a very popular and growing competitive sport, and athletes who participate do not cheer for a team, they ARE the team. These coaches create the competition routines — tumbling, stunts, jumps, dance, and other skills set to music — for our All Star and All Star Prep squads. See Cheer Storm Elite.

Our individual girls program is designed to teach students brand new gymnasts through intermediate gymnasts, across 4 levels that students progress through at their own pace on vault, bars, beam, floor and Tumbl Trak™. Tumbling classes are the foundation of gymnastics and cheerleading, and these coaches take students from Beginner Tumble through Elite Tumbling. See Recreational Gymnastics or Tumbling.
